Lovrak 5% Cream is a targeted topical antiviral formulation designed for the local management of superficial viral infections caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). Powered by Acyclovir (5% w/w), a synthetic purine nucleoside analogue, it selectively inhibits viral DNA synthesis and viral replication. Formulated in a smooth, non-greasy cream base, it accelerates lesion crusted re-epithelialization, diminishes lesion eruption time, and relieves the characteristic localized pain, burning, tingling, and erythema, packaged in an aluminum tube of 10 g.

How to Use

• Clean hands thoroughly before and after application to prevent autoinoculation or transmission to other skin sites.

• Initiate treatment at the earliest sign or symptom of infection (during the prodromal phase of tingling, redness, or itching).

• Apply a thin layer of cream to cover the affected lesion and immediate surrounding tissue margin.

• Reapply 5 times daily at roughly 4-hour intervals during waking hours, omitting the nighttime application.

• Continue treatment for a standard duration of 4 to 5 days. If complete healing has not occurred, treatment may be extended for up to a total of 10 days.

• Do not apply inside the oral cavity, into the eyes, or inside the vaginal vault.
