Lamifen cream 15 g

Lamifen 1% Cream is a high-potency, topical antifungal medication formulated for the short-course treatment of superficial fungal dermatophyte infections and cutaneous candidiasis. Powered by Terbinafine Hydrochloride (1% w/w), a synthetic allylamine antifungal, it interferes with fungal sterol biosynthesis by selectively inhibiting squalene epoxidase. This action causes toxic squalene accumulation and ergosterol depletion inside the fungal cell membrane, resulting in rapid fungal cell death (fungicidal action). Its vanishing cream base penetrates the stratum corneum rapidly to clear itching, scaling, erythema, and cracking associated with athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm, packaged in an aluminum tube of 15 g.

How to Use

• Cleanse and thoroughly dry the affected area and surrounding skin before application.

• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected site and surrounding margins once or twice daily.

• In intertriginous infections (under breasts, between toes or buttocks, groin folds), the application area may be covered with a light, sterile gauze strip, especially at night.

• Treatment Duration:
