Ferose Chewable Tablets is an oral hematinic medication formulated for the prevention and treatment of latent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia (IDA). Powered by Iron(III)-Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex (IPC) equivalent to 100 mg of elemental iron, it delivers iron in a non-ionic macromolecular complex mimicking natural ferritin storage. Unlike traditional ferrous salts, IPC does not release free reactive iron ions in the gastrointestinal tract, preventing oxidative mucosal irritation, significantly reducing gastrointestinal intolerance (nausea, epigastric cramping, and constipation), and eliminating tooth enamel staining. Formulated with a pleasant chocolate/caramel-like taste, it comes packaged in a box containing 30 chewable tablets.
