DESCRIPTION
Vastarel MR 35 mg is a widely used medication for managing chronic stable angina pectoris and supporting heart function in patients with coronary artery disease.
It contains the active ingredient Trimetazidine dihydrochloride, which helps protect heart cells from the effects of oxygen deprivation, improving energy efficiency in the heart and reducing chest pain during physical effort.
Indications:
• Treatment of chronic stable angina
• Enhances heart efficiency in patients with coronary artery disease
• Reduces symptoms such as chest pain and shortness of breath during exertion
• Used as an adjunct therapy with other cardiac medications (e.g., beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors)
Dosage & Administration:
• Recommended dose: One tablet (35 mg) twice daily (morning and evening)
• Taken orally with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects
• Do not stop taking without consulting your physician
Warnings & Precautions:
• Contraindicated in severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min)
• Not recommended for patients with Parkinson’s disease or other movement disorders
• Report symptoms such as dizziness, tremor, or gait disturbances to your doctor
• Not intended for acute chest pain or unstable angina
